The objective of the STEP Program goes beyond merely providing employment for tribal
members. As the name implies; Strengthening Tribal Education Program, the core objective
of the program is to provide training and educational opportunities to assist in
the enrichment of both career and personal life of Nisqually Tribal Members.
What is the STEP Program: It’s an apprenticeship program at the Red Wind Casino
for Nisqually Tribal members. Become an apprentice in the casino department of your
choice, and you can advance while you get experience and training, and furthering your education.

Culinary Apprenticeship, Beverage Apprenticeship, Human Resources, Information Technology (IT), Keno, Marketing,
